“We have an awesome art program. They push us to go further and think conceptually,” Raven says. “I love Missouri Western.”

When Raven Pollock came to Missouri Western as a freshman, she knew she wanted to be an art major, but wasn’t sure which field of art. The University gave her opportunities to explore and discover her strengths.
“I had the chance to try all media until I found my niche,” she says. “The art program helped me find my style.”
After much experimentation, the native of Oak Grove, Missouri selected a double major of graphic design and photography.
She believes her senior seminar and portfolio class prepared her well for the “real world,” along with internships on and off campus.
