Since his arrival at Missouri Western State University in 2001, Sipp has participated in 29 juried national and international exhibitions. Among these, 4 have been solo exhibitions and one has been a two-person exhibition at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. His work has been exhibited in St. Petersburg, Russia, Cadaques Spain, Paris France, and Sharjah United Arab Emirates.

He is the recipient of awards for his work in such venues as the Bradley International Drawing and Print Exhibition, the Delta National Small Print Exhibition and the Texas National Exhibition. He has won 3 Gold Addy Awards and 2 Silver Addy awards for his work in commercial illustration.

His paintings and prints are in the permanent collection of the Coca-Cola Corporation, the Tribune Broadcasting Corporation, the Los Angeles Times, Sony Music, The Sharjah Museum of Art and the Vero Beach Museum of Art, among others.

His academic awards include being designated a Distinguished Professor in 2008 and he was the recipient of the Missouri Governor’s Award for Excellence in Education in 2010.
