Chris Waner to speak on his work in Digital Animation

Chris Waner will present a lecture on his work in digital animation and on freelancing.

Bio: Chris Waner is a Creative Director and CG Supervisor who enjoys solving problems visually, verbally, musically, rhetorically, artistically, and technically. His goal is for everything he makes to be not only stunning sensually but also to strum the perfect emotional chord. For over ten years Chris has worked with companies in North and South America, Europe, and Asia, from Kansas City to Buenos Aires to Zurich to bring creative ideas to life.

Chris Waner has an award-winning track record of concepting and directing high-end visual effects and has experience with many of the most challenging production tasks such as concept development, creative direction, design, pre-visualization, 3d production, visual effects (including fluids, liquids, cloth, destruction, creature and character creation, environments and set extensions), and 2D and 3D compositing–including tracking, keying, roto, stabilization, and color correction.
