Your Student Information Letter

Your Student Information Letter is designed to help your instructors understand the barriers that prevent you from having access to the same opportunities available to your peers and includes strategies for removing those barriers. So, it is a really great idea to set up an appointment with each of your instructors during the first week of classes to discuss your concerns as well as your needs for the upcoming semester. During the appointments with your instructors, you will want to hand them a copy of your Student Information Letter. It is also a great idea to share a copy of your letter with your academic advisor so that he or she can help you choose the classes that work best for you based on your needs as well as your strengths.
