Winter weather has forced the postponment of Griffon baseball’s home opening series against St. Cloud State. The Griffons were scheduled to host St. Cloud State Feb. 15-17. Make-up dates will be announced later.<\/p>\n
It’s a huge week inside the MWSU Fieldhouse. Tonight, Feb. 13, we host Southwest Baptist in the WBCA Pink Zone game for the Griffon women. We’ll also have our annual Valentine’s Day giveaway, and, it’s #Colors4Carson Night! Thanks to the hard work of the MWSU Staff Association, Griffs Givie Back and the MWSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, SAAC was able to grant Carson his wish of a remodeled bedroom through the Make-A-Wish foundation. Wednesday night we’ll recognize Carson and his family following the women’s game. We encourage all of Griffon Nation to wear bright colors in support of Carson.<\/p>\n
Saturday, Feb. 16, we dedicate Tom Smith Court at halftime of the men’s game. Be sure to stick around after the men’s game for a reception on the court. The games against Central Missouri are the final home games of the season, so we’ll also recognize our seniors and it’s also Youth Basketball Day with free admission for youth basketball players wearing their uniform tops. Women play at 2 p.m. and men tip off at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
