Legal Studies faculty and students will be available to help you learn about the proposed rule changes to Title IX and help you write a comment to state your position. Comments you make for or against these regulations can affect the final regulations that impact all of us.\u00a0The deadline for making comments is January 30.<\/p>\n<p>Changes proposed to regulations affect when and how sexual harassment and assault cases would be handled by all universities by:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Limiting university responsibility by only applying to occurrences on campus or within a university program,<br \/>\n\u2022 Changing the reporting and hearing process of the university, and<br \/>\n\u2022 Narrowing the definition of sexual assault<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sponsored by the Legal Studies Association<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Title IX Workshop will be held from 2-3:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 in Wilson 206 Computer Lab.
