Now that your student is attending Missouri Western, they are responsible for making many of their own decisions, including those concerning their health. You can rest assured that your student has access to high-quality healthcare options from a health center which strives to promote the health and wellness of all Missouri Western students.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Esry Student Health Center\u00a0is staffed with a family nurse practitioner, registered nurse, administrative coordinator\u00a0and office assistant.\u00a0 The center provides outpatient clinical services, which include, but are not limited to, diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and injuries, as well as a variety of lab tests and screenings.<\/p>\n
All services remain confidential between staff and student only. The center may not release information about a student to anyone without the student\u2019s\u00a0signed authorization.<\/p>\n
There is a nominal fee for services, laboratory and medications when students visit the health center.\u00a0Charges will be added to the student\u2019s account through the Missouri Western Business Office.<\/p>\n
Each year, the health center sponsors a health fair, where students can learn about a variety of health topics, check their vitals, get a free flu shot, receive a free t-shirt and enjoy live entertainment by Molly Balloons.
