{"id":4053,"date":"2016-09-04T08:00:30","date_gmt":"2016-09-04T08:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/admissions\/?p=4053"},"modified":"2019-05-21T10:40:18","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T15:40:18","slug":"food-options-on-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/admissions\/2016\/09\/04\/food-options-on-campus\/","title":{"rendered":"Food Options on Campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Missouri Western offers your student many convenient, healthy food options across campus. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>The food court is located in Blum Union and features Burger Studio, where students can customize their own burger or chicken sandwich; Subway, where they can buy a sub-style sandwich; and Wu\u2019s Oriental Kitchen (W.O.K.), which offers the students the ability to customize their own Asian stir fry meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Also located in Blum Union is the dining hall. The dining hall offers students all-you-care-to-eat dining. This facility offers a different selection of food each day, including American entrees, ethnically inspired foods, vegetarian selections and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Sometimes, students are so busy with their class work that they do not have time to make it to Blum for lunch. Not a problem! Missouri Western also offers several lunch options across campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Einstein Bros. Bagels, located in Remington Hall, offers quick, tasty lunches including bagels, soups, salads and sandwiches. Einstein Bros. also features to-go coffee and a wide variety of decadent desserts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Located in Popplewell Hall, Provisions on Demand (P.O.D.) offers students a quick and easy option on their way to and from class. There are many \u201cgrab-and-go\u201d options including sandwiches, salads and chips as well as daily hot food options. Along with lunch, the P.O.D. also offers students a quick place to stop and pick up amenities such as cough drops and aspirin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Our campus boasts Java City locations in the Blum Student Union and the library in Hearnes. If your student just needs a quick snack or pick-me-up, these locations offer a wide variety of coffee-based and non-coffee-based drinks, as well as quick snacks like muffins, cookies and fresh fruit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>Finally, if your student loses track of time studying for the important midterm they have coming up, they still have a late-night option for snacks on campus. Max\u2019s Mart C-Store, located in the Commons Building between Beshears, Logan and Juda residence halls, is open until 12:30 a.m. every night.
