International - Graduate School Admission

What Type of Student Are You?

New Student
Step 1: Check Missouri Western's language requirements.

Step 2: Apply for admission.

Step 3: Pay the $50 application fee through your application portal.

Step 4: Request official transcripts from each undergraduate/graduate college/university attended. You must also send transcripts from any English programs where you have studied. Transcripts must be sent directly from the school to MWSU and should be provided in the native language and translated to English. Transcripts that are scanned or copied are not considered official and will not be accepted. Student transcripts received from other colleges and universities become the property of MWSU, and are not reissued to the student or to another institution.

Step 5: If you have attended a college/university outside of the United States, we require that all international students submit their university or college transcripts to World Education Services, Inc. (WES) for a course by course evaluation report. This evaluation report must be done at your expense. The cost of the report is $160. You can apply online. The reports can be completed within 7 business days once you have submitted the required documents and payments. Results must be sent directly from the organization. Remember that you must request the Comprehensive Course-by-Course Report and the results must be sent directly from WES to the address listed below:

Step 6: Mail or email financial supporting document showing at least $27,000 in U.S. dollars that will be available to you during your first year of study. We prefer that you send bank statements showing funds available for the past six months. [ FORM]

Step 7: Mail or email a copy of your valid passport to cwashburn@missouriwestern.edu.

Step 8: Sign and mail or email the Insurance Policy Form to cwashburn@missouriwestern.edu. [FORM]

New Student - Studied in U.S.
