There are multiple paths to teacher certification, each with its own merits and shortcomings. The first challenge you have is to educate yourself about each of these paths and compare each with your goals and qualifications.

Unfortunately, no one in the Education Department or in the other major departments has enough time available to do this for you; you have to do your homework before we can help you.

Since each transcript analysis and interview takes 1-2 hours, and since the University may get as many as 10 requests per week, we are unable to find the time to help anyone who has not done all they can do first and who has not followed the instructions on the following pages.
