Financial Aid Studying abroad can be expensive, but that does not make it impossible. In many cases, the financial aid that you already receive to attend MWSU can be used to defray the costs of studying abroad. There are, however, other sources of funding for which students can apply. The links below will introduce you to an example of the types of external funding opportunities available. Students are encouraged to search the Internet for other opportunities. Furthermore, students are encouraged to stop by the Study Abroad and Exchange Programs Office to consult Financial Aid for Study Abroad, a book that lists funding sources for international study.
