which is related to the student’s academic field of
study. It gives a student an opportunity to apply in a
real work setting what he/she has learned in the
classroom. Simply put, an internship is applied
learning.

How do I set up an internship?

Faculty meet with the student and the
company to set objectives that the student must meet in
order to fulfill the requirements of the internship.

student to meet the objectives and they evaluate the
progress made.

resource for employers’ special projects as well as
on-going research and development.
