Dr. Castilla Ortiz is a native speaker of the Spanish language from Argentina. He
grew up in Chile and his interests in Literature and Films focuses in
Spain. He enjoys taking pictures, even after his cameras have been
stolen in every continent. He understands that religion and sex are
topics to avoid in USA culture, but he researches and analyzes those
themes in literature, and therefore he teaches and discusses them in the
classroom.

Dr. Jason Youngkeit began to study Spanish at the age of 13 and has had
a passion for the language and culture ever since. Even before he began
his formal university studies in Spanish he had lived for 2 years in
Argentina and had also spent considerable time in Mexico. He earned his
BA, MA, and PhD in universities in Texas and Utah. Over the course of
his university studies and teaching he has traveled extensively
throughout Latin-America and loves to use his experiences in the
classroom. |
