What did you do before coming to Western?
I came to Western from a small town south of St. Joseph, MO called Gower. I participated in many extracurriculars and athletic activities there and graduated in May of 2006.
What have you done while at Western?
Grades are important, so studying takes up most of my time. I have tried to do as much as possible with my college experience. After my first semester at Western, I got bored with the same old routine of school and work, so I joined the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. After that spark of confidence, things snowballed from there. I got active in student relations, tutoring, and Admissions while working as a VIP, Registration Leader, and Griffon Edge Leader. I am also apart of several other organizations such a Delta Phi Upsilon, Campus Crusade for Christ, Psi Chi, and Griffon Habitat for Humanity, holding leadership positions in mostly all. I got involved in Student Government Association and now am the Director of Student Relations.
What degree are you working on completing?
B.S: Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Administration &
B.A: Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
Already completed:
A.S Criminal Justice
What are you planning on doing after graduation?
I plan on attending Law School at a Ivy League University, also I hope to also be admitted into a Joint Degree Program where I can get my J.D and a Ph.D in International Studies or Behavioral Psychology. I'm shooting for a Governmental job on some level. I already made peace with the fact I'll be in school for a very long time!
