What did you do before
coming to Western?
I graduated from Aviano High School on Aviano Air Force Base, Italy. Following high school I spent my first semester of college at Plattsburgh State University in Plattsburgh, New York playing volleyball for the college team. I transferred to Missouri Western to be closer to family in the spring of 2008.
What have you done while at Western?
I am currently a resident assistant in the residence halls at Missouri Western State University. I serve as a friend, tutor and mentor to forty seven students on a daily basis, as well as work six hours a week at the residential life front desk serving all Missouri Western residents. I also serve on the Heartland RA Conference committee; the conference will be held at Missouri Western October 2-4, 2009. Spring semester, 2008 I served as a research assistant for the Missouri Western honors department.
What degree are you working on completing?
Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in business
What are you planning on doing after graduation?
I would like to work for a company or firm as their public relations consultant and ultimately go on to opening my own public relations/advertising/marketing company as well as eventually starting a family.
