Missouri students and teachers must complete the registration process at www.artandwriting.org. Click on "Register Now" in the lower left side of the page. Please print the completed submission forms and obtain required signatures.

Deadline for Receipt of Contest Entries by Friday, January 15, 2010.

Processing Fee: This region adheres to the standardized processing fees established by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, the national nonprofit organization that administers The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. These include a $5 fee per individual submission and a $20 fee per portfolio submission.

Fee waiver: Any student who currently qualifies under the Federal School Lunch Act for the Free and Reduced Lunch program may request a processing fee waiver. A request from the student or the teacher for the processing fee waiver should be submitted on school letterhead and included with the work in place of the processing fee.
