This lifestyle is designed to respond to the special interests of students who are interested in, or qualify for, the University Honors Program. This lifestyle is located on the third floor of Vaselakos Hall and is open to first-time freshmen.
Music and Fine Arts Lifestyle This lifestyle is for students seeking a major or minor in Music, Theatre, or Art, and for students in Band, Choir, Color Guard, or who have a genuine interest in the Fine Arts. Floor programs and activities are geared toward resident academic and career interests. This lifestyle is located on first floor of Vaselakos Hall. Global Community This community is for students who share an interest in world relations and building bridges of understanding between cultures. It is the perfect connection for International Students, students who have lived abroad, or are interested in majors in foreign languages, business majors with an international studies minor, political science, social work, sociology, speech communication or those who just want to share their story with others. This community is being developed in Vaselakos Hall. Interest Lifestyles: Upper-Class Student Lifestyle This lifestyle offers an opportunity to interact with peers and is for students who have at least 60 credit hours or who are 21 years of age or older This lifestyle is available in Beshears Hall and Griffon Hall. Transfer and Continuing Student Lifestyle This lifestyle is for returning sophomore/junior/senior/ students and for students transferring to the University. Residents must have attended another college or university for at least one semester or be considered a "returning student" at Western prior to assignment. This lifestyle is located in Juda Hall and *Logan Hall. *You must have at least 30 credit hours or be an Internatinonal Student to live in Logan Hall.
Two floors for students interested in health and physical fitness, and/or those majoring in health, physical education and recreation. It will also attract students who are involved in intercollegiate athletics. These two floors are located in Leaverton Hall. First Year Experience Year Hall This lifestyle is for first-time – first-year students. Programming is geared towards the first year experience and making connections with the University. Scanlon Hall houses our First Year Experience Lifestyle.
