The Griffon Card
The Griffon Card is the official identification card for the students, faculty and staff at Missouri Western State University. It offers a convenient, easy and safe way to make purchases and utilize campus services. The Griffon Card serves as the following:

• University identification
• Access to Missouri Western facilities
• Allows you to participate in University-sponsored events
• Access to non-directory student academic information or documents from academic offices
• Access to your meal plan in the Cafeteria
• Access to your Flex $ and Gold $ in the Cafeteria, Food Court, Deli (Popplewell Hall), Einstein Bros. Bagels (Remington Hall), CStore (Commons building) and Java City (Hearnes Center Library)
• Allows you to check out materials at the library
• U.S. Bank ATM and PIN-based debit card

Adding Money to Your Flex $ and Gold $
If you run out of Flex $ and Gold $, you can stop by Blum Union, Room 102 to deposit money into your gold account. We accept cash, personal checks (made out to Missouri Western State University), Discover, Visa and Mastercard. The deposit cannot be added to your student account in the Business Office.

Plus, use your Griffon Card anywhere PIN debit is accepted nationwide.¹ Whether you're at the gas pump or the grocery store, simply swipe your card through the reader, select "debit," and enter your ATM PIN code. After you approve the amount to be paid, the total will be debited from your checking account. Check with your favorite local retailers to find out if they accept PIN debit.

Reporting Lost or Stolen Cards
If your Griffon Card has been lost or stolen, report it to the University Police Department immediately. If your Griffon Card has been activated to act as your U.S. Bank ATM and PIN-based debit card, notify U.S. Bank immediately at 800-US-BANKS (872-2657). Lost or stolen Griffon Cards will result in a $10 replacement charge.
