The MWSU Courtesy Patrol was created to increase and enhance the security and crime prevention services already provided by the MWSU Police Department. This program provides a means for students to travel safely from place to place on the campus grounds.

The Courtesy Patrol will accompany students, on campus, Monday through Thursday. The patrol escorts carry flashlights and wear orange vests imprinted with the words MWSU COURTESY PATROL. They also carry two-way radios for communication with the MWSU police officers. When available, the MWSU police officers will provide escort if the Courtesy Patrol is not on duty.
