Graduate Courses: Summer 2012 Offerings

PLWP offers institutes for MWSU graduate credit as well as MWSU graduate courses which are taught by National Writing Project Teacher Consultants; these PLWP courses are available to teachers at the reduced tuition rate of $75 per credit. The PLWP courses count toward three MWSU graduate degreesThese bargain tuition rates are ONLY available to teachers who pre-register for courses through Prairie Lands Writing Project before Friday, May 11, 2012.

Advanced Institute: Hit the Trail Writing! Online Seminar in Professional Writing for Teachers EDU/ENG 612 (3 credits)

Costs: $300 (includes $75 online fee)


Professional Writing Retreat EDU/ENG 501 (1 credit)


Meeting Dates: From 6pm Friday, June 8, until 2pm Sunday, June 10
Meeting Place: Conception Abbey, Conception, MO (www.conceptionabbey.com)
Costs: $175 for retreat (two nights lodging in single room, five meals) and one hour of graduate credit, OR $100 for retreat only
