Casey Daugherty teaches at Willow Springs High School, Willow Springs R-IV Casey shared how to help students create unique portfolios to exhibit their work. She provided packets for a two-week portfolio unit and ideas on teaching students how to work with each other in response groups. *A touch of love—a touch of humor—and creative freedom allowed! In this presentation, Casey will share how you can help your students create unique portfolios to exhibit their work. You will see portfolio examples of personal writing as well as reflective responses. In addition, Casey will demonstrate the importance of using response groups for assessment that allow students to see the new vision within their writing.
