Sigma Sigma Sigma's Beginnings

Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded on April 20, 1898, at Longwood College in Farmville ,VA. Tri-Sigma's national headquarters is located in Woodstock, VA and is called the Walton House. It is named after our third National President, Mabel Lee Walton.

Sigma Sigma Sigma's Local Beginnings

The Zeta Tau chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded at Missouri Western State College on April 1, 1995. On that date the local sorority, Sigma Delta Xi, bacame a chapter of the national sorority Sigma Sigma Sigma, and was the first national sorority on campus.
