TKE expects serious attention to a solid academic performance, high
scholarship, and classroom achievement. Missouri Western TKE's reward
personal scholastic success for members through a series of semester
awards, given each semester, and scholarships.
Approaching academics with discipline is a principle upheld by our
men. A strong academic record not only prepares a student for success
after graduation, but it represents strength of mind to the world.
TKE bolsters our members study habits and note taking abilities, as
well as classroom preparedness, that helps them to excel on their
transcript and after they
graduate.
All college fraternities stress the importance of academic
achievement, but TKE at Missouri Western is different.
The overall Chapter GPA is consistently rated among the top within
the Western Greek community. The Chapter boasts
members who tutor in a variety of different majors, requires members
under a 3.5 GPA to participate in active study hours, and supports a
tutor support program with the Counseling and Testing center. |
