Delta Lambda TKE Alumni earn Distinguished Alumni honors
Frater Jim Crane, Delta Lambda Chapter, has been named a
Central Missouri State University
(recently renamed “University of Central Missouri”) Distinguished Alumni of
the year from the college.
Frater Crane will lead this year’s Homecoming parade in Warrensburg and was
recently featured in the
UCM “Alumni Today” newspaper. 2006 marks the second straight year in which a
Delta-Lambda TKE
has been named a “Distinguished Alumni” with the Grand Marshall honors for
the college’s Homecoming,
last year’s brother being Frater William Parrish, Assistant Director of
Homeland Security after the nation’s
tragic 9-11 attacks. Both fraters are proud alumnus of the university and of
their Chapter heritage, and have
been instrumental players in the current re-establishment of an interest
group of potential TKE’s on UCM’s
campus in the 2006 fall semester.

Kappa-Nu Rockhurst
University - The 16th Annual TKE Alumni Memorial Golf Classic
was held at Staley Farms Golf Club on June 4, 2005. Over 120 Rockhurst TKE
alumni participated
raising funds which will benefit a scholarship fund for a worthy TKE student
member. Since its inception the tournament has raised well over $25,000, and
this year was the best attended event in many years.
According to TKE headquarters, the Kappa Nu Chapter at Rockhurst has the
longest running and best attended golf event of the nearly 300 chapters and
colonies in the US and Canada, and is also believed to be one of the most
successful fraternity alumni golf events in the entire greek system with
well over ten percent of the alumni base actively participating each and
every year for sixteen consecutive years, which is a truly remarkable number
in the fraternity world and speaks loudly for the "TKE Spirit" at Rockhurst!!!
