About MWSU/STC
The Missouri Western State University Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication is a joint student-professional chapter, or local branch1, of the Society for Technical Communication. Students, professors, and professionals alike are welcome.
MWSU/STC dates back to the late 1980's-early 1990's. It was created to encourage awareness and development of technical writing; recognize the importance of strong desktop publishing and writing skills; establish an academic, social and professional identity; and create an atmosphere that nurtures an exchange of ideas and information. If any members have stories or information about the history of the MWSU/STC chapter, we'd be more than happy to post them! Just e-mail.
