Recent Activity

June 4, 2009 - Technical writers are now recognized by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics as being distinct from all other writing professions in the 2010-2011 edition of the Occupational Outlook and Handbook (OOH). The OOH is one of the most popular and key reference materials used in human resources departments, guidance offices, and career centers, thus bringing information about technical communication into the hands of people who need to know about it the most. April 27, 2009 - Minutes from the April 27th meeting are now available. The annual STC picnic will be held at noon on May 2nd (a Saturday) at Dr. Jeney's house.
