The Student Nurses' Association (SNA) of Missouri Western State University is a pre-professional association that is a branch of the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA). Involvement in the NSNA, through this local association, will help prepare students for involvement in professional organizations after they graduate from MWSU and begin working.
Our local association involves itself in many community activities, such as health screenings and education. These functions of the SNA are provided both on and off campus and have been readily accepted and appreciated by those individuals that have benefited from our services.
Another key area of the association is the help and guidance between our members. Our program is a highly focused and intense, goal-oriented program. There are five semesters of active students at any given time, it is one goal of the organization to provide to each member the ability to meet and develop relationships with people in all phases of the program.
Pre-nursing students are also encouraged to join. While you are a pre-nursing student, the SNA dues are waived. Come to the meetings, help with community activities, meet current nursing students (good source for advice), and join in the fun!

We look forward to a fun year with lots of opportunities to help the community!
