The Mystics Dance Team usually attends 1 or 2 "Team Clinics" during the summer months. At these weekend clinics the team gets to know each other, works on team technique, learns routines, learns the policies of the group, and plans fundraisers. Car washes are also a part of the team clinics.
Dance camp for the Mystics is usually held in late July of each year. Camp is where we learn the majority of the routines and material to be used for the upcoming school year. The Mystics Dance Team attends professional, private camps with professional dancers including Ashley Worrell. Ashley is a former dancer for the the Dallas Mavericks, the San Antonio Spurs, the Kansas City Chiefs and currently a Kansas City Brigades Dancer. Camp is required for all members.
All members are required to attend a performance make up clinic and team unity session prior to the start of the year.
