On Monday, February 7, Chris Hayden spoke about Primerica. Primerica was
originally a manufacturing company and now is a member of Citigroup which has expanded its
market share to 1.5% by purchasing financial companies. The company helps the customers
pay off debt while increasing funds for retirement. They also help their clients increase
income and decrease expenses. Chris’ presentation was very good. Financial training
and job opportunities available with the company were also discussed.
Technical Meeting
The February technical meeting was at Hoof-n-Horn with prime rib served. The
food was great not to mention the speaker. Mary Scott from Northwest Missouri State
University was there to speak about their Master of Business Administration program that
will be offered at Missouri Western State University. Mary discussed some of the requirements
for the new program and told us that there will be live instructors from both Northwest
and Missouri Western. In the past there have just been instructors from Northwest. The
program has been improved and both schools feel that it will be a success. If you would
