STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Research is being done in order to find out the most effective method of communication between engineers employees and project owners. Face to face communication between these individuals should increase the projects accuracy as well as enhance the understanding by all of the individuals involved.

STATEMENT OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

An 8 question survey will be sent out to individuals that fit the employment criteria determined by surveymonkey.com. Individuals will be presented with a situation and will answer on how strongly they agree or disagree with the communication style presented. Participants answers will be analyzed and interpreted depending on the number of the responses to each question.

ANTICIPATED RISKS AND BENEFITS

The risk in this study seems to be minimal because it is a simple survey sent out to individuals who meet the criteria.

SUBJECT SELECTION

Anywhere from 50 to 100 subjects would be substantial for this study. Surveymonkey.com has the option to target a certain audience who meet the criteria I indicate as necessary.

CONFIDENTIALITY

In this study no names will be given out and the information will be generalized as the group of people answer. The group will be analyzed as a whole and no specific names will be given. the information will only be accessible to me as I solely have the password on my account.
