About Us
The Missouri Western State University German Club meets to discuss and cultivate various aspects of the German language
and Germanic culture in an informal setting. In order to accommodate
student schedules, meeting dates and hours vary from week to week, but
generally are held on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons. Other,
off-campus events are scheduled from time to time, and are announced
well in advance.

German Club members celebrate German-American Day, at
one of its frequent Stammtisch sessions at the Belt Brewing Company.

German Club members Jason Wiedmaier, Dale Krueger,
and Aaron Diestel promote the study of German at Missouri
Western State University during Foreign Language Day.
Membership in the Missouri Western State University German Club is
open to anyone interested in the German language and/or Germanic culture,
history, and customs.
No Knowledge of the German Language is Required!!
Emphasis is always placed upon informality and interaction, and for
non-students as well as those enrolled at Missouri Western State University.
AND... Guest presentations are always welcome--participants are
encouraged
to present a topic of their choice, and share their experiences with the
German-speaking world.
