WESTERN PRESENTS PIANIST ILYA ITIN
St. Joseph, Mo. -Nov. 4, 2010-Missouri Western State University presents pianist Ilya Itin in their guest artist recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at Potter Hall Theater.
Itin is an internationally renowned pianist who is on the teaching faculties of the Graduate Program at CUNY and the Golandsky Institute in Princeton. His 2010 concert season has been highlighted by sold-out recitals in China, Japan and the United States. He has collaborated with many of the worlds great conductors and has been a much-lauded soloist with orchestras. He is currently a regular guest teacher in the piano department at The Julliard School and at Peabody Conservatory. For more information on Itin, visit www.ilyaitin.com.
General admission is $7. Seniors, Western students and employees with their I.D. are $5. Kids 12 and under are free. Music 101 students, music majors and their family are free.
