General Information
Can I tailgate in the parking lot?
Fans are encouraged to tailgate if they desire. If doing so,
the Kansas City Chiefs and Missouri Western State University ask
fans to follow these simple guidelines:

Only one parking space may be taken
up per car

Alcohol is prohibited in all MWSU
parking lots. A beer tent will be located inside the
food court on the Training Camp grounds. Please see
the Camp Map for location.

We kindly ask fans to dispose of all
trash in barrels provided.
What activities are offered for Kids at training camp?
The Kids Zone will feature a number of inflatable games and
other fun activities for kids visiting training camp. Kids may
also have the opportunity to get a player autograph and be
selected for the helmet walk.
Are there restrooms on site?
Yes, on-site restroom facilities and porta johns will be
available. Please see the Camp Map for locations.
Will there be concessions?
Pizza, chicken, hamburgers, soft drinks and water are among
items available. Beer also is sold but may not be carried
outside the food court. Please see the Camp Map for locations.
Where can I buy Chiefs merchandise?
The Chiefs Team Store will be located at the entry point to
Training Camp and will sell official player jerseys, hats and
more.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes. An ATM will be located near the Chiefs Team Store.
Where is the lost and found area?
The lost and found area is located at the Chiefs Information
Tent. Please see the Camp Map for location.
Are all practices open to the public? Are they free?
Yes, all practices are open to the public unless the team goes
indoors due to inclement weather. Practices
are free except for special events such as Family Fun Day,
August 6th, and another event to be announced. For those
special
events there will be a $12 admission with children under the age
of 3 free.
Autograph Policy
An autograph period for fans will take place for a minimum of 10
minutes after each practice session at training camp. A
designated position group will ring the fence line on the south
and west side of the practice fields. A designated autograph
area for kids 15 and under will be available in the southwest
corner of the practice fields. In order to accommodate as many
fans as possible during the allotted time, please limit your
request to one item per player. Due to the anticipated size of
crowds at camp, demand for autographs may exceed the ability of
players to accommodate all requests due to the camp schedule,
especially during two-a-days.
Fans are permitted to watch players come and go from the Indoor
Facility to the practice fields, but autograph seeking will be
limited to the designated times listed above. Autograph times
and availability are subject to change based on changes in the
practice schedule or inclement weather conditions.
What items are prohibited?
For safety and security, the following items are prohibited at
Training Camp:
- Firearms, weapons of any type or fireworks
- Coolers – any size, any type
- Plastic, metal or glass cups, cans or containers (Sealed
bottles of water are allowed)
- Thermos bottles or flasks
- Food
- Beer or liquor
- Video cameras or professional cameras/lenses
- Flammable liquids
- Noisemakers – air horns, klaxon, bells, whistles, etc.
- Boom boxes
- Laser pointers of any type, poles or rods
- Any other items deemed dangerous or unacceptable by security
Is seating provided for fans at training camp?
Yes, bleacher seating is provided for approximately 3,000. Fans
are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating as
well.
Can I bring my pet to training camp? Pets are not permitted on Training Camp grounds with the
exception of service animals.
Can I take photos or video of the players during training camp
practices? Fans are encouraged to take photos at Training Camp. However, no
audio or video recording devices are allowed, including
camcorders or cellular phones with video capabilities. Video
taping during practice is strictly prohibited.
When should I arrive for practice?
The camp gates will open 1.5 hours prior to the posted
start of practice and will close 1 hour after practice.
The only exceptions
would be for night practices and
Family Fun Day. For these in-stadium events, gates will open
2 hours before the start of the event and close 1 hour afterward.
Heat Awareness: Training Camp is notorious for practices in the summer heat.
Please remember that Training Camp is outside and fans should
take certain precautions, including:
- Staying properly hydrated
- Applying sun screen
- Using shade to avoid heat related issues
Emergency Information/First Aid:
In case of lightning and other severe weather, fans should seek
shelter and follow the instructions of local law
enforcement/university personnel.
A first aid tent will be on-site and will be staffed by
Heartland Health EMT’s. This tent will offer free water for
fans, shade and access to emergency personnel if needed. This
tent should be able to handle all minor first aid problems at
camp. An ambulance will be on-site at all times camp is open to
the public.

Special Needs:
Visitors with special needs should see a Training Camp
representative for appropriate assistance.
Smoking Policy:
Smoking is prohibited on Training Camp grounds.
