Intensive English Program (English as a
Second Language)
The
Intensive English Program at Missouri Western State University
has been developed to offer our international students a strong
foundation in the English language. This foundation will enable
our international students to succeed in their chosen academic
fields and become more comfortable living in the community.
Estimated
International Student Expenses for 2010-11 (Undergraduates)
For the regular academic year (fall and spring semesters-nine
months) at the out-of-state tuition rate:
Out-of-state Tuition and fees (12 hrs): $8,252
Room and board (University housing minimum): $7,090
Health and accident insurance (mandatory): $720
Total direct costs for nine months: $16,062
**Books and supplies (estimate): $1,000
**Personal expenses (clothing, medicine, miscellaneous): $1,938
Total direct and indirect costs for nine months:$19,000
**Costs for books, supplies and personal expenses are estimated for
your educational budgeting.
