Intensive English Program (English as a Second Language)
The Intensive English Program at Missouri Western State University has been developed to offer our international students a strong foundation in the English language. This foundation will enable our international students to succeed in their chosen academic fields and become more comfortable living in the community.

Estimated International Student Expenses for Undergraduates
For the regular academic year (fall and spring semesters-nine months) at the out-of-state tuition rate:

Out-of-state Tuition and fees (12 hrs)
Room and board (University housing minimum)
Health and accident insurance (mandatory)
**Books and supplies (estimate): $1,000
**Personal expenses (clothing, medicine, miscellaneous): $1,938
