How to Log In to Moodle

This is a step-by-step guide on how to log in to Moodle.  

NOTE: These are the step-by-step instructions for how to log into Moodle.  Please follow these instructions in the numeric order presented to keep track during forum setup.  Click on the Question Mark icon for more info.  More information can be accessed through the video tutorial library.

1. Enter the Moodle site and enter in the name and password.

2. Click Login to enter the instructor/student account.

To Log In to Moodle in case of a forgotten username and password:

1. In the Login to the site page, click on Yes, Help Me Log In to retrieve the username and password.

2. Enter either the user name or the email address to be transferred to the next page.

3. A message will be displayed as shown below.  Click on Continue to be transferred to the next page.

4. Check your e-mail to find a web address to click on and be transferred to the Forgotten Password page.

5. A message will appear stating that an e-mail containing the news password has been delivered to the email address.  

6. Check the e-mail for the new password to see the username and the new password.

7. Return to the Login screen to test the username and password.
