Televised classes are broadcast live to various cable channels in regional cable television systems. Students have to participate live with the class or ask questions via telephone.  These classes are re-aired later that day as another viewing option.  

Telecourses are previously recorded teleclasses. The course content is the same, but you do not have the ability to communicate with your instructor in "real time."

• Teleclasses and telecourses may be viewed via Missouri Western Television.
• E-mail will be helpful in contacting your instructor.
• All televised distance education course sessions are recorded and archived each semester in MWSU's Library.  These courses are available at the reserve desk and must be viewed in the Library's media room.  They cannot be checked out of the Library.
