IMC SERVICE AREAS

Academic Computing Services within the Instructional Media Center is your new contact for academic computing lab needs such as requesting software loads, reporting technical problems, printer maintenance, training on how to use vision software, etc. Our goal is to make teaching and learning in the labs as productive and efficient as possible. If you have academic computing lab needs that should be addressed before Fall semester, please contact us so we can make sure your needs are met before school starts.

Additionally, most academic labs will be scheduled centrally, through Scheduling Services. You may submit your request here or on the Scheduling Services webpage. Student workers will be hired centrally and supervised through Academic Computing Services. This will result in an efficiency that will allow some labs to extend their hours. Also, a new drop in lab is being established in Wilson 200B.

For support on any academic computing lab technology needs contact Academic Computing Services at 271-5999. The IMC will be hiring a lab coordinator. Until this position is filled, Cori Criger will lead the support team for the labs. She can be contacted at 271-5661 or criger@missouriwestern.edu.
