Disability Insurance
Missouri Western provides college paid Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage. Employees who are disabled due to a non-work related injury or illness may qualify for 60% of salary after a 180 day elimination period.
Missouri Western also provides college paid Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage for employees that have been employed by MWSU for 6 years or more. Employees that have been with MWSU less than 6 years may choose to purchase voluntary STD through Boston Mutual.
