The 7th Annual Griffon International Film Festival, which was delayed due to the snow, is rescheduled for Thursday February 3rd and Friday February 4th, 2011. Film screenings will run from 7pm-9pm nightly at the Hearnes building, room 102. Films previously scheduled to play Monday and Tuesday will play on Thursday night, and those previously scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be combined to play on Friday night.
Theatre and Video students have been working
diligently under the supervision of faculty member Kelly Wittenberg to
prepare for the 7th Annual Griffon International Film Festival.
Students have helped select the films to be screened by previewing
nearly 80 short films and videos received from around the world. This
year's festival will show the best of these entries each night. Also
included this year is the Missouri Western Student Showcase, which will
premiere the best video work from our current students alongside these
international selections.
Please join us February 3rd and 4th to
celebrate Independent Filmmaking! Film screenings are scheduled at 7pm
nightly at the Hearnes building, room 102, on the Missouri Western
Campus. The program will run just over an hour each night. Admission is
FREE and open to students and public. |
