The Summer Research Institute Symposium was held at the Potter Fine Arts Theatre & Lobby. Another great success to top off the 8-week summer program. It started with a brief opening from quest speaker Dr. Keith Gary, Director of Program Development
Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute, Inc. Following Dr. Gary were presentations from the
Multimedia Journalism Team reporting on Multimedia and Interactivity on U.S. College and U.K. Commercial Newspaper Websites and the stage scenes from the original play "Marlowe" presented by the
Theatre Team.
- Poster presentations were also presented in the lobby from the other SRI Teams which included Biology, Chemistry, Construction Engineering, Forensic Taphonomy, Psychology and Synthetic Biology were they discussed the results of their research and answered questions.

The Summer Research Institute Picnic was a great success (images). The food was great, the weather perfect and the teams had a chance to interact and hear some interim details of the various research activities taking place this summer.
