Transfer Credits

A maximum of 6 approved credits of graduate work can be transferred to MWSU from another university and counted toward a Missouri Western graduate degree. All transfer credits must be approved by the graduate program director to which the student is applying and Graduate Dean and will be counted toward the graduate GPA. Please use the Graduate Transfer Credit Form

Courses Taken While Non Degree Seeking

Additionally, a maximum of 6 graduate credits taken at MWSU while at non-degree seeking status may be counted toward a graduate degree.

Certificate Programs

For certificate programs, a maximum of 6 credits, either transferred or taken while at non-degree seeking status, may be counted toward the program. Additional transfer credits or other exceptions to these rules must receive approval by the department/ program director and Graduate Dean
