Projekt Gutenberg - A very extensive compilation of German literature! Searchable by author, this database is a wonderful resource, giving a short biography of the author and links to online works.
German Literature on the Internet - Also a thorough collection of works. Many of these works are linked to the Gutenberg site. This site is both in English and German, but literature is in German.
