America Reads! is a work-study program which is part of a nationwide effort to improve the reading skills of elementary students.  As a tutor, you will be working with elementary school children to help improve their reading skills.

Key Components of America Reads!

• You must qualify for the Federal Work-study program at Western.
• You must have the desire to work with children.
• You must have your own transportation.
• You must complete an application form.
• You must attend the required paid training sessions.
