Janice has completed her Master's thesis at MSU and will be taking comprehensive exams during the spring 2010 semester in order to receive her Master's degree in English.
She is currently the Director of Student Services at Cox College. She teaches 1 seated and 2 online classes in college success strategies and critical thinking, as well as multiple workshops, particularly with APA writing; work with the early warning/early intervention program and retention; supervise the Academic Resource Center and the Peer Tutoring program; and write, copyedit and proofread multiple documents. She also serves as the sponsor of the Student Government Association and the Student Ambassadors. She is currently planning the first common reader program, expected to begin in January 2010.
