Starting his 14th year in Singapore, he spent nine years as Lecturer and Assistant Professor of English literature at Nanyang Technological University.  In 2003, he became Dean of Undergraduate programs at the Broward Community College (Florida) branch campus in Singapore, which offers a fully accredited Associate's degree program for students who plan to continue their studies in the United States.  He enjoys traveling throughout the Southeast Asian region over the years and has never forgotten his Griffon roots.  His eight-year-old son, Elliot, is fast becoming a sports lover, like his dad, and hopes to retain his fluency in both English and Chinese for a lifetime.
