"The classes that I took helped prepare me for the world outside of Western but it wasn't until life after college that I learned what it meant to be in the real world.  Working with St. Joseph inner city youth was the eye opener and one I wouldn't trade for the world.  Working with T-CAP as their Event Coordinator has allowed me the opportunity to apply the sills that I learned at Western.  Six years after graduating I finally found a job in my field and realized that it was well worth the wait because I am finally doing what I always imagined and am incredibly happy.  My advice is don't get discouraged if you can't find a job in your degree area right after graduation because when you finally do get that degree job the pay off is well worth it."
