The Alliance Française organizes a range of activities throughout the year. With culinary, literary, and cultural events, you can enjoy life à la française at least once a month! As a member of the Alliance Française de Saint Joseph, you benefit not only from monthly rendez-vous, but also from the French resources available on the campus of Missouri Western. La Bibliothèque Française, available by appointment (contact Susie Hennessy), gives you access to French language books on a variety of topics--literary and other--reference materials, magazines, and newspapers. Members also have access to the "Projet Benjamin," an initiative to support the Allliance Française network in the United States. Services available include a virtual librarian and interlibrary loan. Participation in the Project is open to all members of Alliance Française chapters in the United States. |
