Learning French
Since 2006, the Alliance Française de Saint Joseph has recognized outstanding students of French in the high schools of Northwestern Missouri. In March of every year, the principals of these schools are asked to nominate, in consultation with the head French teacher, the best student of French in that year. The teacher sends the name of the student to the Alliance, whereby the Alliance sends the teacher a letter of congratulations, the certificate of merit, and a one-year honorary membership to the organization for the student.
