practices and to all educational programs and activities including student

Normally your
school assignment will be at approximately the same time as your EED/MED/SED
203
class. You will visit the school on two different days for approximately two hours each day. Elementary assignments
generally are between 9:00am -11:30am or 12:30pm - 3:30pm for two hours.
Secondary assignments can be between
8:00am - 11:30am or 12:20pm - 3:00pm.
The actual time you will visit the school will be contingent upon the school
schedule and when they can accommodate you. Secondary assignments will start at the actual beginning of a
middle or high school class
period such as 9:33am or 12:17pm. You cannot enter a classroom after
class has started. List the preferred time for the school assignment
and remember to consider travel time to and from the school. If you
have another class that is from 8:00am - 9:20am, you cannot expect to be at a
school by 9:30am or even 9:45am. Your time will be more like 10:00am -
12:00pm
but then this begins to cause complications with the lunch period in the
schools.

To help your college supervisor and the public school teachers better
understand your motivations, WHY do you want to participate at a school [other than it is a
MWSU requirement]. What questions do you want answered? How
might this experience better help you make a firm decision to request formal
admission to the MWSU teacher education program or to change your major?
Why are you considering education or teaching as a career?
Be sure that you proofread your
