Tuesday, August 2, 2011- Fall Semester Icebreaker for students with disabilities at Olympia Lanes Bowling Alley on the North Belt Highway at 7 p.m. There is no charge to bowl. Just show up and have a good time. Make sure you tell the person at the front desk that you are with the Alpha Delta Aplha group from MWSU.

Thursday, April 28, 2011- Alpha Delta Alpha Honor Society Induction Ceremony - Please join us for the Third Annual Alpha Delta Alpha Honor Society induction ceremony on Thursday, April 28 at 5 p.m. in Blum 218. Alpha Delta Alpha is an honor society specifically for students with disabilities and is sponsored by the Office of Disability Services. Our ceremony will feature guest speakers, an induction ceremony for new members, an awards ceremony, and a keynote presentation by Betty Peck. Light refreshments will be served. Let's fill the room to overflowing in admiration and appreciation of the hard work and determination displayed by these students who have overcome great challenges in pursuit of academic excellence.

Saturday, April 9, 2011- First Ever Disc Golf Event at MWSU (Disc Golf Flyer) to raise funds for Alpha Delta Alpha and for the ODS. Thank you to Wonda Berry and her 2 styudent interns and thank you to AMber, Ross and Rockwell for showing up and participating. Alpha Delta Alpha also had a meeting (cleverly disguised as a pizza party) following the disc golf tournament. Thank you to Amber, Ross, Rockwell and Lisa for showing up and participating.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011- Mike Ritter worked with students enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant program on an Emergency Evacuation Project.

Friday, April 1, 2011- Spring Accessibility Project - Sidewalks, Ramps and Rails, Oh My! We are basically finished with assessing the need for handrails on sidewalks within the inner circle of our main campus. Thank you to Amber, Ross, and Rockwell for your assistance! The next step is to discuss our findings with the S.G.A.

Friday, March 25, 2011- Mike Ritter spoke with members of the Kansas City Royals and the St. Joseph Parks and Recreation Department to discuss possible funding for the Tree House for Everyone project.

Saturday, March 26, 2011- Adventure League - Bode Ice Arena - 2:00 to 5:30 - Thank you to Ross and Rockwell for your participation!!! More Adventure League events to follow this summer.
